According to the regulation, food vouchers should be provided in the same amount to all employees who have been hired under a labour or management contract.

The amount of the food vouchers should be the same for every employee who has a labour or management contract. Food vouchers are fully exempt from taxes and social security contributions for the employees and the employer for an amount of up to 60 BGN per month per employee.

According to the law it is forbidden. Food vouchers represent a social benefit, provided in addition to the employee’s salary and cannot be used to replace the salary or part of it. The amount of the food vouchers should be the same for every employee who has a labour or management contract.

If the vouchers are damaged (torn, dirty, stained, etc.) or part of the information printed on them is damaged (nominal value, name, etc.), they may be reissued under the following condition: the number and the barcode on them should be intact/readable. In a case like this, please send all parts of the voucher to Sodexo Bulgaria, and provide your phone number and name. We will contact you to clarify the reissuance. In this case the delivery is covered by you, or if you wish you can bring them to Sodexo’s office at: Sofia 1766, zh.k. Mladost 4, Business Park Sofia, building 12A, floor 1.

All types of vouchers, except Trapeza PASS under Regulation 7, can be reissued within 30 days of their date of expiry. To do this, please contact us at: orders.svc.bg@sodexo.com. We will send you a form, where you need to describe the number and nominal value of the vouchers. Then you will send us back only the part for Sodexo, together with the vouchers at: Sofia 1766, zh.k. Mladost 4, Business Park Sofia, building 12A, floor 1.

We will issue an invoice for the commission due to be paid for the reissuance of the vouchers, which you can find described in your contract. After you deliver the payment, within 5 days we will send you the reissued vouchers with the same validity and nominal value. The transportation costs will be covered by you.

Trapeza Pass food vouchers are payment instruments that have a certain expiration date, different nominal values and security features commensurate with those of banknotes.

The food vouchers are fully exempt from taxes and social security contributions up to BGN 60 per month per employee.

The value of Trapeza Pass food vouchers is printed with numbers and letters on the front of each voucher.

The vouchers serve only for purchasing prepared meals, food products and soft drinks.

It is forbidden to use food vouchers to buy alcohol, tobacco and non-food goods.

It is forbidden to exchange the vouchers for cash money.

The vouchers can be used until their expiration date, which is indicated in the lower right corner of the front of the voucher. After their expiration date, merchants will no longer accept your vouchers.

When purchasing prepared food and/or food products with Trapeza Pass food vouchers, you are not entitled to receive change, but you can pay in cash anything above the voucher value.

The vouchers can be used throughout the country.

The vouchers are valid only if they are not torn, damaged or stained.

The vouchers can be used before their designated validity period, which can be found on the bottom right corner of the front side of the voucher. After the expiration of the validity period the merchants will no longer accept your vouchers.

Yes – you can take advantage of the Express reimbursement service that we provide. In this case your vouchers will be reimbursed for a shorter period of time.

No, when buying products with vouchers, change is not given, but you can pay in cash the additional value of what you are buying, which is above the voucher value.

The vouchers can be used in thousands of venues in Sodexo’s partner network throughout the country. You can see the network here. You can use the vouchers to pay at the cash desk at the respective partner who accepts our vouchers. The retailer doesn’t have the right to change the prices of the food products, depending on whether you are buying them with vouchers or cash.

  • You have to place a sticker on your shop window, indicating that you work with Trapeza Pass vouchers.
  • You have to check if the voucher validity date has not expired.
  • You need to stamp and put a date on the back of each Trapeza Pass voucher (make sure that the voucher is stamped on the back side, i.e. it hasn’t been used at another outlet.
  • Check the nominal value (0.50, 1, 1.20, 2, 3, 5, 10 и 20 BGN).
  • Issue a receipt.
  • In case the value of the good/service is higher than the nominal value of the voucher, then the client pays the difference in BGN.

What you shouldn’t do with Trapeza Pass food vouchers:

  • You shouldn’t give change during purchases with Trapeza Pass
  • You shouldn’t exchange Trapeza Pass vouchers for cash money
  • You shouldn’t punch, stick and write on the vouchers
  • You shouldn’t accept vouchers with impaired integrity, as well as simultaneously stained barcode and serial number
  • You shouldn’t damage in any way the integrity of the voucher barcode
  • You shouldn’t sell alcoholic beverages and/or tobacco products when paid with Trapeza Pass vouchers

Write down the date of accepting the vouchers and put a stamp of the retail outlet on the back of each Trapeza Pass voucher.

Fill in the reimbursement form presented to you by Sodexo Bulgaria.

Bring Trapeza Pass food vouchers to Sodexo counter each weekday between 9:00 and 12:00 or send them via mail or courier service.

Trapeza Pass food vouchers are intended just for single use. After receiving them, Sodexo carries out the following operations:

  • Cancels the accepted Trapeza Pass vouchers
  • Reads the barcode information of each voucher
  • Compares the information about the issued Trapeza Pass vouchers and those submitted for reimbursement
  • Checks the security features of each voucher
  • Physically destroys each received voucher, but keeps an electronic archive of it

After completing these operations Sodexo sends you an invoice containing information about the value of the service due, as well as the number and the nominal value of the Trapeza Pass vouchers that have been submitted for reimbursement.

If the client prefers the invoices could be sent via email.

Upon payment of the value of the service, Sodexo will transfer the value of the vouchers provided for reimbursement to the bank account specified by you in the contract.

Sodexo can guarantee the reimbursement of the vouchers you have accepted in your retail outlet.
